Favorite Shopping Areas

Kittery(5 miles south) features many factory outlet malls clustered along Route 1. Anne Klein, Black & Decker, Carters Children’s wear, Corning, Dansk, L'eggs/Hanes/Bali, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren and others. Here you will also find the Kittery Trading Post (sporting goods and clothing similar to L.L. Bean).

Portsmouth (11 miles south) offers many unique small shops in the downtown, waterfront area. Just west in Newington are two mall complexes with many store chains.

Wells (14 miles north) large clustering of antique shops plus a couple of factory outlets including Cannon and Fieldcrest.

Portland/South Portland (1 hour north) features The Maine Mall, a Christmas Tree Shop, Target, and many quaint downtown stores in the waterfront Old Port.

Freeport (1½ hours north via the Maine Tpk and Rte 295) is home of LL Bean, many factory outlet malls and craft shops.
